1. How Can You Trace a Gmail Email Account to the Owner

When Gmail first jumped onto the web based e-mail scene a few years ago, its service was available only to those who had been invited to use the service. Now it is free to anyone who wishes to use it and it has become one of the most popular free web based e-mail services on the internet. This is due largely to its large storage space and extra features like POP3 access and chat. Of course, Gmail is also very attractive to cyber stalkers and like other web based e-mail services, is popular among those who use e-mail to send uninvited harassing or annoying messages to others.

If you have been receiving unwanted e-mail from a Gmail address, there are steps that you can take to find out who has been sending you the e-mail and get them to stop.

Your first step should be to use the reverse e-mail search offered by Gmail itself. This is because it is easier for Gmail to search its own e-mail records than it is to get them to reveal information to an outside source. If you are a Gmail account holder yourself you might also have more leverage than you would as an "outside" e-mail account holder. Try using Gmail's reverse e-mail lookup system to see what kind of information you can uncover about the identity associated with the e-mail address that has been sending you unwanted e-mail.

If you don't have much (or any) luck with the Gmail reverse e-mail search system, there are a lot of independent reverse e-mail search systems on the World Wide Web. A simple search with any of the major search engines will turn up plenty of different search systems in which you can look up the identity that has been assigned to the e-mail address that keeps turning up in your e-mail inbox. The key in this search is to be tenacious. Do not give up if you don't find out who has been sending you unwanted e-mail with your first reverse e-mail search. One search service might have an easier time of accessing Gmail's records than others.

If the e-mails feel particularly malicious you might consider hiring a professional to run a reverse e-mail search for you. Gmail is especially attractive to the cyber bully because Gmail will strip the senders IP information from the header. Thus the Internet stalker thinks that he cannot be identified from a header trace.

While it is true that the header information from a Gmail email is useless in tracing their identity. That does not mean that it is impossible to identify and locate the sender of a Gmail email.

Every time a person uses the Internet or signs up to an online service and enters their email address, they leave a footprint and that footprint can be tracked and traced back to the sender. The professional investigator has developed years of sources and resources in order to obtain this information that may be unavailable to the average person.

There is also something called the "deep web" and this information is not accessible by a simple goggle search but it is available to a seasoned investigator that has spent years developing methods to search these areas of the web.

So a Gmail account may be more difficult than the average reverse email search. It may even be too difficult for the average person to trace but It's by no means impossible for a professional that specializes in email tracing

  2. How to Download Free Bluetooth Ringtones

    Author: Peter Nisbet

It is easy to download free Bluetooth ringtones if you know how to do it. In fact, the term 'Bluetooth ringtones' is not quite correct, because Bluetooth do not provide ringtones, only the means to transfer them from your PC or laptop to your cell phone.

The procedure is that you first have to find a source of free ringtones, if that is what you want. Quite frankly, although free ring tones cost nothing to download, you have to consider if it is really worth it, considering that they are either of poor quality, have a limited range of cell phones that they can be used on, or are old music.

If you compare free Bluetooth ringtones to what you get for a relatively small monthly payment, it is probably a better deal to pay for them. Most sites offer real ringtones for from $5.99 a month upwards, with $9.99 about average. For that small cost you can get unlimited downloads of realtones and wallpapers. What would you rather have? Free ringtones that are old and embarrassing or the best and newest you can get, renewable every day if you want, for 33 cents a day?

Do you really want to be the guy or gal who has to answer that phone ringing out Leapy Lee or Home Sweet Home? I am not exaggerating. However, this article is not about what ringtones you want to be answering, but about how to get them onto your mobile phone using Bluetooth.

You are going to need a Bluetooth dongle, although why it is called a dongle is unknown. It must be boys and their toys, because we all know how some guys like to play with their dongles. Dangling your dongle is a well liked pastime in some quarters! So, get your dongle: you can buy one on eBay for under $10 including postage, and install it onto your computer using the installation disk. It looks a bit like a USB memory stick, and you simply insert your dongle into the appropriate slot and make the connection to the software.

You also need a cell phone that has Bluetooth. To find out if yours is suitable, go to 'services' or 'settings' and check out 'Connections'. If you have Bluetooth, you will see either the name or the Bluetooth logo - a white double triangle making the letter 'B' on a blue background.

What you have to do now is to search on your computer for the downloaded free Bluetooth ringtones, and then activate Bluetooth on your mobile phone. You can now browse the cell phone folders using your PC or laptop - Bluetooth provides the interface that allows this. It's just like browsing through any directory structure, and once you have found the area in which your ringtones are stored on your mobile phone, you can either copy and paste those you want o transfer from your computer, or simply drag and drop if you are using two windows.

The dongle provides the interface between your PC or laptop, and allows you to transfer the free Bluetooth ringtones from one to the other. You can also do the same the other way - transfer files from your cell phone to your PC, and you can use the same procedure to upload wallpapers and games to your mobile phone.

That's how it's done, although the term free Bluetooth ringtones is a misnomer, because all Bluetooth does is to provide a means of transferring MP3 and MIDI files from your computer to your mobile. So, whether you want to use genuinely free ringtones or pay a nominal sum to have unlimited downloads of the latest chart hits, a Bluetooth dongle enables you to do so quickly and effortlessly.

  3. WoTLK Secrets Guide - The Best Way to Make Money in WoTLK Review

    Author: Brett Barrington

Recently I was wondering what kind of guides were out for WoTLK. When a new expansion comes out there are always undiscovered bugs and way to make crazy amounts of gold. I started my venture through the web and came across " WoTLK Secrets " guide. It had a nice cover, and a very informative landing page. I also saw they were a clickbank publisher, so if they were to scam me I would easily get my money back within 8 weeks.

Now let's talk about the guide itself and what useful information it did have.

    The Good

They had some very detailed way to make gold. They included ways for almost every profession. They gave farming paths to take for the quickest return. The guide itself is 250 pages in length, which is not bad at all.

I will say it covered raid's very well, explain boss fights and the mechanics of certain dungeons. It really helped me not to be such a noob when I finally hit 80 and began to run heroics.

One thing it deffinaly did was teach me was introduce me to the new raids. Almost every boss and strategy for the bosses were explained, plus easy ways to see the boss drops.

The gold I made after reading this guide was outstanding also. There were a few methods just by fishing that I was making almost 2000 gold a day with. For fishing, that isn't bad. There are so many uncovered treasures in WoTlK that no one has found, and that is why this guide is so amazing. It's the first of its kind for WoTLK(really the only one of it's kind at the moment). I have bought all three of my high level characters their epic mount skills already, plus I just recently got my main a Mammomth mount that is almost 19k gold. I have deffinally gotten my moneys worth from the guide, and I urge you to give it a try too. Remeber that if you don't like it, you can get a refund from clickbank within 8 weeks no questions asked.

    The Bad

Okay, really there isn't so much that is bad about this, exept the leveling guide aspect of it falls short. I read another article reviewing this guide and they said it was an amazing leveling guide. Well, it does fall short in this one area, but that isn't the reason I bought it. That is probably the only bad thing I have to say about it. If you are in the market for a leveling guide I highly recommend Idemise, they have always provide very fast leveling times for me.

More than any other guide out there, WotLK Secrets has been built up around the experience of a true beta tester who has been into every corner of the new content. He spent entire days and nights searching through the corners of Northrend, taking notes, marking down important strategies and tips and building a guide that would provide every single new bit of content you will encounter in an easy to read, easy to follow format. If you've heard rumors about it being in Wrath of the Lich King, I've covered it.

So all in all, I give it a 8/10. Great guide and very informative to get a head start in WoTLK.

  4. Get Data Off Your Broken Hard Drive

    Author: Jason Kay

A damaged hard disk drive is one of the most unpleasant types of hardware failure. No, I don't mean that a burned processor or a damaged memory block are more enjoyable. Not at all - they are also disasters and in terms of money generally it is more expensive to replace a processor than to replace a hard drive but damaged hard drives have one very irritating property - you lose not only your hardware but also all or some of your data. Data is priceless and if you don't have a backup copy of it, then you are lost.

However, not all hard drive damages are that bad. There are cases when the hard drive is damaged but the data on it is alive. So, if your hard drive crashes, don't panic but hope for the best - i.e. the drive might have become an obsolete piece of machinery but at least your data is not buried inside. There are different strategies for evacuating data from a damaged hard drive and which one you can use depends on the sort of damage, as we'll see next.

What Is a Damaged Hard Drive

A damaged hard drive come come in many flavors. In addition to that, there are many cases when the drive is not damaged but due to some reason the data can't be accessed. For a non-specialist all these cases might look the same - I can't access my files, so my hard drive must have gone off, while in reality the hard drive is perfectly OK but your data is unaccessible because of some prosaic reason.

Without getting into technical details, the shortest (and hardly most precise) explanation of a completely damaged hard drive is that this hard drive can't be accessed with any means even by a qualified PC technician. So, unless you are a PC technician yourself, you can't determine on your own if the hard drive is totally dead or not. However, since there are many cases when a drive is still alive but it can't be accessed due to a variety of reasons (most frequently software issues) you can try some of the approaches in the next section and see if they work. Even if they don't work, they will do no harm, but this does not mean you shouldn't be cautious when applying them.

What You Can Do on Your Own

One of the cases when the hard drive is not physically damaged but is unaccessible due to software reasons is when the partition on which the data resides is inaccessible, or at least not from your operating system. In this case you can use an alternative operating system, for instance a Live CD with a Linux distribution and see if you will have more luck accessing the partition. This will work, if the partition table on your computer is not totally messed up. If you see that the data is still unaccessible, don't attempt to mess up with the partition table because you can make things worse. Instead, hurry up and find a PC technician and pray that he or she will be able to recover your data for you.

Another case when the data might still be alive is when the drive has been formatted on a high level. If the drive has been formatted on a low level, the extraction techniques will not work because the data has been physically destroyed. There are many tools to unformat a formatted drive and you can have a look at the ones listed here: http://recovery-review.com/unformat-tools/. Most of the tools are paid ones but you can find free as well. Hiren's Boot CD comes with a bundle of data recovery tools and I generally prefer to use them than any other tools.

Software problems are common but hardware problems - I.e. bad sectors or a damaged controller are also not an exception. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do about them. If data is sucked by a bad sector, then in 99% of the cases it is gone for good. The 1% stands for the rare chance that you have made copies of exactly this file and the copy is not on a bad sector but this is really a lucky exception. You can take the hard drive to a service but it is unlikely that they will be able to do much.

Another technique you can try on your own without risk to make the damage more severe is to go to your HDD manufacturer's site and see if they provide retrieval tools. Usually hard drive manufacturers provide diagnostic tools but if you are lucky, chances are that you will find a data retrieval tool as well. Very often the diagnostic tools themselves not only check for problems but they also can fix some issues, so they could help you save your data as well.

The above mentioned techniques to extract data from a damaged hard drive are only a small fraction of what can be done. However, many of the other techniques are more complicated and they do require some knowledge about a hard drive's architecture, so I wouldn't recommend you to apply them because you can make a lot of damage. Some of the techniques that require opening the computer case or messing with the parts of the disk itself are too dangerous to try at home. No, you will hardly destroy your home but you can surely further damage the hard drive, making it impossible even for a technician to help you. Additionally, you can void the warranty for the computer system, which is hardly what you want to achieve.

Take the Hard Drive to a PC Technician

If you have tried to rescue the data from your hard drive on your own to no avail, you have no choice but to take it to a service. A PC service has more equipment than the standard user and there is a chance they will be able to help you but still, don't expect miracles. In some cases data extraction services could be free of charge, especially if you have bought the hard drive from them and the warranty has not expired yet but in other cases you will have to pay.

As you probably guess, fees vary. As a rule, the cost depends on the volume of data that needs to be extracted but generally it does not cost a fortune - you might be able find somebody to do it for around $200. Still, if your drive has serious physical damages, even if you go to a more expensive data rescue lab, there is no guarantee that your data can and will be restored.

Skilled PC technicians have more tools and techniques and their disposal. If you are interested in contacting a reputable company, try the service listed below. If you would like to learn more about hard drive data recovery techniques, here are two good articles: www.wikihow.com/Recover-a-Dead-Hard-Disk and www.networktutorials.info/datarecovery.html. Some of the information in these articles might be useful to diagnose the problem, but don't even think of applying the techniques on your own. It is really risky!

  5. Wii Price: Find the Best Price for Buying a Wii

Wii Price: Find the Best Price for Buying a Wii

    Author: Wendy Hearn

At just under $250, Nintendo's Wii console is by far the best value games console on the market. Not only this, it is also the most innovative gaming machine to hit the shop shelves in years.

The Wii has been on our shop shelves for over a year now. If you are not already familiar with it, it stands out from its competitors in that it allows motion sensitive gameplay with its wireless controller. That is, the controller can be swung like a racquet in a tennis game, used like a sword in a fighting game and so on.

Arguably the second most notable thing about the Wii is the price. It retails at half the price of the bottom end PlayStation 3, and is $150 dollars cheaper than the XBox 360. Both the PS3 and XBox 360 do offer better graphics and larger memories, but neither provides the Wii's unique style of gameplay.

The Wii ships with everything you need to get gaming. You get the console, a controller, the cables for hooking it up your TV, and a sports games package to get you started. However, to really get the most of your Wii you will have to spend a little more.

For example, if you are a HDTV owner you will need the Wii Component Video Cable, which retails for about $30. An extra controller (essential for two-player games) will cost about another $30, while the Wii Nunchuk Controllers sell for around the $20 dollar mark. The Nunchuk Controllers aren't essential but you do need them to get the most out of certain games.

Also, the Wii controllers, being remote, run on AA batteries and drain them notoriously quickly. So, you will also need a good set of rechargeable batteries and a recharger, or a Wii charge station - add $25.

Finally, you will probably also want some extra memory (the Wii comes with only 512MB internal memory) for some games. So, depending on your needs, you may want to budget more in the region of $400 to get the most from your Wii. So, shop around for some packages with all the components you need for the best deal.

Despite all these extra expenses, the Wii is still a great buy. Just be prepared to pay slightly more than the $250 price tag.
